The Sr. Customer Development Finance Manager is an integral leader on the team that is responsible for supporting the Loblaws Director of Business Development and Customer Development Team. The LCL Sr. Customer Finance Manager is responsible for financial leadership and strategic thinking on the team. This should lead to delivering balanced growth and profitability strategies.
Key Accountabilities:
Partner with the Director of Business Development on the development of annual Customer Merchandising Agreement (CMA).
Manage L8 Customer Development Financial Analyst consistent with the Performance Management Process
Lead the development of Annual Plans and Quarterly Forecasts for both volume and total trade expenses (Net Sales).
Present customer performance insights to senior executives
Coach Customer Development Team to drive better financial understanding and performance
Generate insights and analysis to drive growth and productivity
Work with senior executives and the Customer Development team to generate Channel Strategies
Cross functional project work as required
Deliver PFC & LCL financial plan.
Grow the core and extend to new adjacencies (PFC & LCL specific)
Execute new Trade Calendar to drive dollar spending /kg to AOP levels
Execute the new FLC Merch Deduction process flawlessly.
All SOX testing is completed timely based on the calendar defined by Internal Controls. Action plans are monitored and remedies are implemented by due date established.
Lead the development of programs and processes to make LCL the Better Together Gold Standard for PepsiCo
Be the Subject Matter Expect on Salty Snacks Take Home for customer financials
Deliver a 1/4ly review of LCL financial performance with the objective of creating insight for PFC to leverage for better results.
Lead the strategic direction and deployment of the new PFC Period End Reporting package to drive increased accountability to delivering Net Sales & FC/MC.
Be an active participant and thought leader on the Customer Development Training Taskforce.
Collaborate with a Customer Development teammate on call preparation, go on call to the customer & influence business results once/quarter.
Collaborate with Customer Accounting to recover invalid deductions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, Accounting designation preferred
At least 4 years of financial analytical and planning experience
Strong multi-functional leadership experience & the ability to think and act decisively
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills
HQ finance experience preferred
Experience implementing new systems and processesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
