Production Supervisor (Aero/Auto- precision machining)
Key
Responsibilities:
Manage manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly, special processes, equipment and facility
Analyze, interpret, summarize defect data and prepare reports for corrective action.
Champion 5S and safety activity in the shop
Liaise with customers, suppliers and manufacturing support
Lead and facilitate key initiatives that support the business plan
Maintain a healthy core business as it pertains to QCDSM
Manage daily labour reporting
Mandatory Job Requirements

Aerospace and/or Engineering education or equivalent experience with at least 10 yrs experience with 3 - 5 yrs Supervisory experience.
Continuous education in a management related field and technical related field
Team leadership (cross-functional/kaizen), presentation skills, problem solving and analytical skills
Business case development and project management experience
Understand blue prints, parts lists and mylars, general knowledge of process and standard specifications
Understanding of aerospace configuration management system.
Chemical process management experience
Computer skills in MS Office suite, mentoring and coaching skills
Knowledge of JIT/Lean production techniques and practices, 5S/CQI and safety programs and their application and Program Logic Control systems operation & maintenance.
Addition notes:
Candidate must be able to pass CGP clearance.
