Warehouse Clerk Ontario, CA, United States Full Time Permanent req80739 The Correspondent is responsible for directing the daily activities for the specific department, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper proceeding of warehouse procedures.
Key responsibility is to ensure support is provided to the Operations Supervisor through completing warehouse work procedures.
Your Role The Correspondent is responsible for directing the daily activities for the specific department, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper proceeding of warehouse procedures.
Key responsibility is to ensure support is provided to the Operations Supervisor through completing warehouse work procedures.
Your Responsibilities File customer and facility documents as required Ensure associates are executing tasks safely Work collaboratively with Supervisor to develop positive working relationships within operations Assess workflow and plan and schedule shift based on workload Stage product for packing or shipping Utilize RF equipment as required Assume the responsibilities of a supervisor, when necessary Daily international invoice generation and shipment preparations for all shipments to/from the wholesale and retail entities, both outbound and inbound between two distribution centers Identify, report, and help resolve systems issues related to invoice generation and accuracy Process manual invoices and/or virtual transactions for non-sale flows as necessary Pick up coordination and prep with transportation vendors as needed Correspond with brokers to avoid clearance delays Participate in weekly leadership meetings on open issues with the Customer; Collaborate with customer on weekly KPI reports.
Process Head Office orders for non-sale purposes Export log reconciliation for duty drawback Actively troubleshoot to find root causes to issues and present ideas for efficiencies Train associates when necessary.
Ensure compliance and adherence to Company policies and procedure Address any issues that may arise- escalate as necessary to management.
Ensure customers KPIs are met continuously as well as efficiently and cost effectively Customer feedback provided to other units and discussed in a timely fashion.
Assistance provided with customer account/credit queries.
Provide support to other departments when needed.
Demonstrate customer service and Be sure to have all daily departmental targets met.
Work mandatory overtime when required in order to continue to support DC operations.
Other duties relating to warehousing and distribution will also be required.
Your Skills and Experiences Basic Math Skills High School Diploma or equivalent experience Computer skills Fluency in Common Business Language- English At least (1) year of experience in a high volume operation.
Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
Must be organized, detail oriented, thorough and accurate.
Ability to efficiently solve problems Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision Ability to be flexible in a fast changing, dynamic and demanding environment.
Ability to provide training to new Material Handlers Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
