Product Review Engineer II

Our R&T Certification Department is looking for a talented individual to join our Certification team! The Product Review Engineer II will assist with the day-to-day aspects of the R&T Certification department.
Such functions will include working closely with customers through the certification process by ensuring the certification requirements and procedures are understood and completed on time, reviewing test reports, drawings, calculations, and other supporting information to assure compliance with applicable product standards and codes, providing technical assistance and working closely with the Product Certification Committee (PCC), working closely with administrative support staff to coordinate distribution of application documents to PCC in a timely manner, reviewing applications, plus other duties as assigned.
A quality contender for this position will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent multi-tasking abilities.
This is a hybrid remote position for our location in Ontario, California.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or combination of similar education and work-related experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in Engineering field required, preference for work experience in product testing/compliance, regulatory, codes and standards, or related field.
Working knowledge of both USA and Canadian product performance standards.
Working knowledge of Uniform Plumbing Code, National Plumbing Code of Canada, and International Plumbing Code.
Working knowledge of NSF/ ANSI 61, low lead laws.
Working knowledge with EPA WaterSense certification scheme.
Familiar with California Energy Commission Requirements and/or others as defined.
Familiar with the applicable IAPMO R&T Policy and Procedures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
