Overnight shift - Monday - Friday, 10pm- 6:

00 per hour The primary responsibility of this position will be to handle incoming samples for accessioning, organizing, storing, and processing.
The processing of samples will include RNA isolation of various sample types, prep for RT-PCR, and running RT-PCR for COVID-19 testing.
Processing chemistry, immunology blood samples.
The position is an in-person job that takes place in a lab in Ontario, CA.
Required Skills/
Experience:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Biology Understanding of aseptic technique with a focus on pipetting (lab etiquette) Sample accessioning, tracking, and storage experience Processing samples for nucleic acid isolation utilizing bead beating methods Examine specimens for bacteria, viruses or parasites.
Measure levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to help ensure medications are at their most therapeutic levels.
Look at the chemical content of the blood to determine deficiencies in nutrients or excesses of cholesterol or blood sugars.
Make use of cell counters, cultures, microscopes and other various types of equipment.
They must also follow the lab's protocol for analyzing, interpreting and delivering test results Skills/
Experience:
Experience in CLIA Laboratory setting Experience with RT-PCR Experience with setting up and running laboratory automation equipment Compensation is market competitive and based on the experience and the expertise of the selected candidates.
Candidate should have a legal work permit to work in the US.
