The ideal candidate will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, compliance, and training.
This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Key
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
Support the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and participating in job fairs tailored to the automotive sector.
Employee Relations:
Act as a liaison between employees and management to address queries and concerns related to HR policies, job duties, and career development opportunities.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
Help in processing payroll and managing employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Compliance:
Aid in maintaining legal compliance with employment laws and regulations, with a specific focus on the automotive industry's standards and practices.
HR Records Management:
Maintain and update HR files and records, ensuring confidentiality and security of employee information.
Employee Engagement and Retention:
Contribute to initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and retention, recognizing the unique environment of the automotive sector.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Promote diversity and inclusion efforts to create a respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an HR/Recruiter role, preferably in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
