AccentCare is seeking a Contract Manager to join our team. The Contract Manager will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Contracts/Payor Relations to negotiate and implement managed care contracts, including the communication of organization-wide protocols regarding new and/or significant revisions to existing contracts:
AccentCare, Inc. will make reasonable accommodations to "otherwise qualified individuals."
Prepares and issues proposals competently, and analyzes the terms and conditions of a proposal or contract.
Support contracting initiatives that are consistent with the managed care areas strategy, including submittal of government RFP, as well as commercial contracts.
Reviews agreement language, terms and conditions to identify company liabilities, working directly with Director of Contracts on direction on recommended language changes, prior to submitting to Legal Counsel for final review and approval.
Process assigned contracts in accordance with the polies and legal requirements of company for completion.
Proposes payor contract Addendum/Amendments, if needed to clarify important details and/or when necessary for rate increase requests.
Support the Director of Contracts, and organization, in developing and managing external payor and provider relationships
Supports Field Staff, with information on specific managed care contracts, as requested
Ability to create and update reports and manage to metrics associated with contract implementation and administration

Required Experience
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience required- 2 years Min. experience
Demonstrated understanding of ancillary services and contracts

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
