This position reports to the Senior Manager, Information Technology.
Main challenges
The Information Technology Department supports application development and maintenance of systems for Financial Markets. The Application Analyst position requires a self-starting, problem solving, motivated individual who enjoys working in a dynamic trading environment. The successful candidate will join an internal team of technical trading specialists who support the current Global One and Equilend trading platform environments and work closely with the Business and Technology groups to drive towards strategic objectives.
Specifically, you will:
Provide application analysis, on-going development and support of the Global One and Equilend trading system and all lines of business activity that it supports
Update existing Perl, Shell and Java Scripts
Contribute to successful completion of project deliverables
Provide solutions or recommendations to technical issues
Respect deadlines and communicate progress to the business and technology management teamEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
