As a retail technician in one of our store locations you will conduct repair services on customer products including, but not limited to, computers and mobile wireless devices. Examples of repair services will include new computer set ups, hardware and software diagnosis and installations and wireless device screen replacements. Additional duties include:
Conduct repairs on customer electronic products including computers and mobile wireless device.
Communicate with customers person-to-person, at the customer counter area or via phone and/or email as required.
Complete customer billing.
Maintain test equipment and tools in proper working condition.
Follow published policies related to health and safety rules specific to the workplace as provided by senior management. Promote health and safety within the workplace.
Report any potential problems or unsafe situations to supervisors and/or senior management.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills we're looking for.
Post-secondary diploma in electronics technology or proven technical proficiency from bench testing
Experience with consumer electronics products.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
The ability to track and handle multiple repairs and request is essential.
Strong customer service and communication skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
