Android Mobile Developer Job Description LoopNet, a Costar Group company, is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a Senior Mobile Developer in our new downtown Los Angeles office.
You will be part of a highly skilled development team working with the latest technologies.
Development is done in a collaborative process where input and expertise will help influence the overall requirements/design.
This is a great position for a self-motivated -out of the box- thinker who is looking to work on applications that are used by millions.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications, that will be seen by millions, for the Android platform - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features - Work with internal and external data sources and API's - Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs - Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency - Work with Android Studio & Android 4.

Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience - 3
years of experience with Web APIs (Json and XML as a plus) - 4
years hands on experience with native Android app mobile development - Proficient in Android development tools and SDK - Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle - Experience with third-party libraries and APIs - Experience with mission critical, high volume, mobile apps and/or web-based systems preferred - Proficient in writing Unit Tests and/or Test Driven Development (TDD) preferred - Familiar/proficient in current Microsoft development tools, C#, ASP.
NET, SQL Server a plus - Experience in Kotlin and RXJava is a plus - Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies and patterns including object oriented programming, MVC, MVP, etc CoStar Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer; we maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
