Manufacturing Technology Specialist TraineeThe Manufacturing Technology Specialist Trainee learns the design and delivery of a wide variety of technical and team initiatives to address skills and development for employees within Niagara.
The trainee position will rotate through multiple departments - Asset Care, Engineering, Packaging, and R&D to describe a few.
This individual will remain in the developmental rotation for a minimum of 18 months and not to exceed 24 months.
Detailed Description Develop skills needed to become a key contributor in developmental area they are assigned to.
Ensure that competencies required by existing and new processes and equipment are identified and incorporated into corrective actions.
Assists in planning and implementing TPM within the scope of the Competency Management Pillar, ensuring learning supports Niagara future objectives.
Collaborate with other Technical Services groups to write, or work with vendors to develop, written and demonstration-based Skills Assessments to determine baseline knowledge of all Niagara Mfg Technical personnel.
Practice classroom based training.
Train Operators and Maintainers in fundamental job functions, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvements.
Enact, enforce, and review Niagara Technical Policies within a training environment.
Create and maintain communication channels for better information flow -- Communicate relevant information to all major customers and stakeholders.
Interacts with Team Managers or their designees to determine plant and training needs.
Determine performance opportunities within sites, facilitates structured needs analysis to determine performance gaps and develops plans to close the gaps.
Conducts post-training evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of approach, materials and delivery.
Revisions made based on evaluation results.
Collaborates with colleagues within the Learning and Development function to ensure consistent application of Corporate Learning and development standards.
Obtain Mastery Level skill set before moving to next assignment.

Demonstrate potential to become a Subject Matter Expert with regard to adult learning, training systems, and learning management.

Efficiency Improvement Training Development Public Speaking Skills Assessments New System Implementation & Administration Able to clearly communicate how to perform complex technical tasks Write and Deliver technically complex SOPs Can articulate steps taken to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues Basic TPM / Lean / Six Sigma competency Able to translate audit findings, assessments, and gap analysis into recommendable actions to senior staff Strong analytical and problem solving skills Self-Motivated with a proven record of taking the initiative Able to work with minimal supervision Detail-Oriented with Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Able to execute tasks in a very dynamic and ever-changing environment Exercise sound judgment and ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce Education Minimum Required:
Associate's Degree In related field pertaining to manufacturing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
